Marcella Jones (Choctaw descent) founded Native Voices Booking & Management in 1995. Before starting the agency, she was Director of Indian Council Of The Elderly in Milwaukee for 2 years. Previous to I.C.E. she spent 10 years in the advertising and marketing business. Over the years she's held a wide range of jobs and functions. These include founding a woman's retreat center outside Beloit, WI (MotherRoot Farm), selling airtime (for a classical radio station) and being paid to use air (speaker with Peak Performance Systems). One of her fondest dreams is to be a performer with Cirque du Soleil.

Alison Taurel was raised on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies. She was schooled abroad and has lived in Holland , Wales, Switzerland and Mexico. During her career, she has worked in the Dutch and Trinidad & Tobago embassies, as well as for CEOs of international companies. Taurel has translated over 17 children's books from French into English and 7 books from Dutch into English, and speaks 4 languages. She has an extensive background in planning and scheduling itineraries and travel arrangements, and in general event coordination. Taurel also produced, programmed, engineered and broadcast a weekly blues show on WYMS Radio in Milwaukee for five years.
